Walz’s Brother Cautions Voters That Tim Is “Not The Person You Want Making Decisions For You”

The list of Democratic defections to the right has been increasing, bringing notable leftists like Tulsi Gabbard, RFK Jr., and even Malik Obama, the half-brother of former President Barack Obama, over to Team Trump.

These defections have been so frequent they spawned a catchy new term: Trumpocrats.

Perhaps the most surprising Trumpocrat has been Malik Obama. In September, Malik cautioned that his half-brother Barack is “still influencing the country” and would play a “major role if Kamala Harris wins the 2024 election.” Malik said that Barack changed everything when he replaced President Biden with Harris as the Democratic candidate. He noted how easily it was done despite Harris not receiving even one primary vote.

He added that he was certain that Harris and Barack were in contact before the coup and that they have spoken daily since then.

Describing the Democrat party as “hypocrites,” Malik said that he has been voting Republican since 2016 and will vote for Trump again in November.

However, another anti-Democrat has emerged, and he is a little closer to the election than Obama’s half-brother. Meet Jeff Walz, VP candidate Tim Walz’s brother.

Jeff Walz is completely against his sibling’s political beliefs. In a series of Facebook posts, he warned that Tim is “not the type of character you want making decisions about your future.”

Jeff also suggested in the past that he would consider publicly supporting Trump in the presidential race, but It’s a statement he appears to be backing away from now.

Jeff, a registered Republican who donated $20 to Trump’s 2016 campaign, explained that his social media posts were meant to clarify that he does not share his brother’s views. He mentioned that he received many comments from friends and old acquaintances who thought he felt the same way as his brother on campaign issues, so he wanted to set the record straight. Jeff admitted that using Facebook wasn’t the best way to do this, but he emphasized that he disagrees with his brother’s policies.

The brothers have been estranged for over eight years. They last saw each other at their brother Craig’s funeral. The Harris campaign reached out briefly to Jeff for personal information while vetting Tim, but that was the only significant contact between the brothers for years.

Even though he and his brother are not close, Jeff Walz expressed that he is still upset that his brother didn’t inform the family before he became the Democratic Party’s vice presidential nominee. He stated that he learned about his brother being chosen for the role through the radio. Jeff felt his family should have received a warning and temporary protection since it was “such a big deal.”

Jeff took to social media to call Merica a “banana republic” following the March indictment of Trump in the Stormy Daniels hush money trial.

Jeff, a registered Republican, is trying to distance himself from his comments about his brother’s campaign. He now says he never wanted to influence the election and claims his comments about Tim “not being the character you want to make decisions” were benign. He said one of the “stories he could tell” was that Tim got carsick on long trips.

Jeff spent the evening of the vice-presidential debate at a J.D. Vance watch party, proving that while he is downplaying his political differences with brother Tim, he is far from supporting him in the 2024 election.

But Jeff isn’t the only Walz who thinks Tim has no place in the Oval Office. In September, a social media post highlighted a photo of eight people wearing T-shirts that said “Nebraska Walz’s for Trump.”

The people in the picture were descendants of Francis Walz, Tim Walz’s grandfather’s brother. They stated that after Tim Walz was named the Democratic Party’s vice presidential nominee, their family made T-shirts to support Trump and Vance.

According to his own family, Tim is not America’s best choice. They have “been there, done that, and got the T-shirts” to prove it.
