When your side is losing as badly as the Biden family, you grasp at any straw you can find to avoid a final defeat. In this case, Democrats are outraged because Republicans in the House Oversight Committee released an unverified FBI tip that supports the pattern of Biden behavior.
Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) presented the long-awaited FD-1023 before the committee to the chagrin of Democrats. This form, which the FBI had denied existed and later outright refused to produce, was the same one that nearly landed FBI Director Christopher Wray with a contempt charge earlier this year.
The information found on the form may not be verified, but House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer said it aligns with other ever-emerging evidence to support massive bribery schemes and corruption for Hunter and President Biden.
One finding was that the CEO claimed never to have directly paid the Big Guy (Joe Biden), funneling the payouts through several banks. Comer noted that this collaborates with emerging evidence regarding the Bidens’ financial records. “That sounds an awful lot like how the Bidens conduct business: using multiple bank accounts to hide the source and total amount of the money,” Comer said.
The form supports the allegations of a quid-quo-pro involving taxpayer money, then Vice-President Joe Biden, and the firing of Ukrainian prosecutor General Viktor Shokin to block an investigation into his son’s involvement with Burisma.
The form was created by a confidential FBI informant who, until the document was released, was considered by the FBI as “very credible.” Once the informant noted improprieties involving the Bidens, however, this credibility was called into question.
But the explosive form contains first-hand insight into the collaboration between the Bidens and Burisma founder and CEO Mykola Zlochevsky. Among the shocking revelations, Zlochevsky admits that he paid Hunter and then-Vice President Biden $5 million each to smooth the way for purchasing a US oil company in the wake of an active corruption investigation involving Burisma.
When the FBI source recommended Zlochevsky bring someone with more experience than Hunter to the board, he was told that Hunter’s appointment was necessary so that “everything will be ok.” Burisma CFO agreed, stating that Hunter was hired to “protect us, through his dad, from all kinds of problems.”
The form also revealed that Zlochevsky said he was pressured to pay the Bidens and that he recorded calls with them as proof that he was coerced into the payments. Further, the informant alleges when the issue of Shokin’s investigations into Burisma was raised, Zlochevsky responded, “Don’t worry, Hunter will take care of all those issues through his dad.”
With the alignment between the document and the emerging evidence, Democrats have no choice but to point out that the information is unverified to combat it. White House spokesperson for oversight and investigations was quick to point out that Republicans were using an unverified source to push a false narrative.
“It’s clear that congressional Republicans are dead set on playing shameless, dishonest politics and refuse to let truth get in the way. It is well past time for news organizations to hold them to basic levels of factual accountability for their repeated and increasingly desperate efforts to mislead both the public and the press.”
If anyone knows about using unverified documents for “shameless, dishonest politics” and “increasingly desperate efforts to mislead the public and the press,” it’s Democrats.
Just ahead of the 2016 presidential campaign, the Clinton campaign funded the creation of the Steele Dossier, a complete hoax full of made-up and unverifiable information used to obtain warrants to illegally spy on her political opponent, Donald Trump.
Even the creator of the Steele Dossier warned that the information was unverifiable and couldn’t verify the information despite being offered a $1 million bribe by the FBI to do so.
But Democrats knowingly marked them as “verified” and used them to illegally manipulate FISA.
There was not one word of truth in the Steel Dossier, and Democrats knew it was unverifiable even as they used it to bludgeon Trump. The report cost the taxpayers millions of dollars in phony investigations and impeachments, permitted spying on a private citizen and then a sitting president, and was used to manipulate an election.
The fact that committee Republicans acknowledge that the FD-1023 is unverified places them far above the shoddy antics of the Democrats.
Pot, meet kettle.
And by the way, pot, get ready to boil. The Bidens can’t escape the hot water they are in, and it’s only going to get hotter.
