Ted Cruz Predicts WHO Will Be Dem Nominee?

We all know Joe Biden isn’t doing well, not physically, mentally, or in terms of likability. And that means the Democrats may have to devise a different solution for 2024, one that Texas Senator Ted Cruz believes will culminate in making Michelle Obama the DNC’s nominee choice.

Now, seeing as Biden hasn’t been doing well for a while now, Cruz is not the first to predict this possibility. However, his recent discussion on the matter offers some of the most sensical reasoning we’ve heard.

The topic was broached on Cruz and Ben Ferguson’s Monday episode of their podcast, “The Verdict.” During it, Cruz pointed out that the Democrats are in a bit of a tough spot. As I mentioned, clearly, Biden isn’t very popular, and even more concerning is that should he win, he likely won’t live through his next term.

But the idea of Kamala Harris running the show is even more terrifying for Dems, although they can’t really get off her on her own as the first black woman vice president.

Naturally, the idea then is to find a way to get Biden out of the picture.

As Cruz tells Ferguson, they may be able to convince Biden to step aside for the betterment of the party. After all, Democrats are “command and control, they are collectivist,” as Cruz says.

In any case, they’ll remove Biden somehow, no doubt claiming some health issue or something. And that will undoubtedly and immediately open up the field for more Democrats to join the race. Those like Kamala Harris, CA Governor Gavin Newsom, Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg, and Elizabeth Warren are all seen as potentials.

But Cruz also sees Michelle Obama coming into the picture, if only for the sake of the party.

“The Democrat kingmakers jettison Joe Biden and parachute in Michelle Obama. I view this as a very serious danger.”

She’s made it clear that she doesn’t really want the job. But she might be convinced to do it if she thought it would continue moving our country in a leftward direction, which it would no doubt do.

Nonetheless, Obama just seems to make the most sense to Cruz.

First of all, she offers America a black woman and one who isn’t Kamala Harris.

Secondly, it avoids choosing another candidate in a field where no one really stands out. Just as a former first lady, Obama already makes it to the top of the list.

Besides, she’s an Obama – you know, the family that supposedly “saved the day.”

But as Cruz says, it’s also a very dangerous option.

Should she win the nomination, it’s not entirely impossible that she couldn’t win the general election. In fact, most believe it will take someone of her kind of star power to even come close to unseating Trump as the 2024 winner.

And then, we could see the beginning of yet another “disastrous” presidency. Cruz feels it would be disastrous for several reasons.

First of all, and as he mentioned already, Democrats are a collectivist, meaning Obama may get in there and do exactly what Biden is doing: push liberal agenda items no matter what the people need or want.

Secondly, she’s “further left than Barack” and “further left than Joe Biden.” And we all know nothing good comes of that.

Lastly, she has “really high positives” and relatively low negatives.” She’s a bit of a roller coaster, in other words. And she would naturally blame everything bad on Biden’s presidency and not her own, which can be “really potent politically.

To conclude, Cruz gives the possibility of Biden not being the nominee 25 to 30 percent. And that means the likelihood of Michelle entering the race is higher. As Cruz says, “If I were a Democrat, I’d be excited about that.”
